Roles and Responsibilities
Place and follow-up on POs to Internal GE factoriesManage relationships with GE factories for PO executionManage problems and schedule changesPlace Purchase Requests for Inventory flow partsUpdate ERPDevelop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizationsBalance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projectsCollaborate with SPB level stakeholdersSpecifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research doneProvide technical / commercial assistance to Material Management and S&OP teams to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledgeActively participate in GE factory performance reviewsAdvises Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures within own fieldContributes to project as a team member or leads small projectsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply chain planning)An additional minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply chain planningSAP knowledge in procurement environmentDesired Characteristics
Fluent in EnglishLead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityStrong oral and written communication skills.
