Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Operate baler and related equipment to compress, bind, and package recycled materials (such as cardboard, plastic, and paper)Load materials into baler, ensuring proper sorting and contamination controlMonitor machinery for safe and efficient operation; report any malfunctions or safety concernsPerform regular equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenanceRemove completed bales and transport to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping proceduresAccurately document bale weights, materials processed, and any equipment issuesFollow established procedures for proper material handling and waste disposalCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goalsAdhere to all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
