Element Six is currently seeking an experienced Materials Handler to join our collaborative team in Santa Clara, CA.We are looking to further expand our small and friendly team. The role is based on-site at our facility.The successful candidate will directly report to the Production Manager, working as part of a team of skilled engineers and production technicians developing and producing high-performance diamond products for the global market.The role assists the operations, engineering, and finance teams; this requires decision-making and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.We are looking for a proactive team member with good communication skills.We operate a skills-based program and are a small team; the successful applicant may be required to cross train into other areas as needed.Duties and tasks
Shipping and ReceivingCoordinating and shipping outbound orders; liaising with external service providers.Maintain documentation for all inbound and outbound product.Following established procedures for receiving incoming orders and processing purchase orders.Inventory Maintaining updated and accurate records of inventory including periodic cycle counts.Review documentation to monitor discrepancies and perform reconciliations where appropriate.Assist with the coordination of material movement within the facility.Attention to detail and inventory calculations.Materials ManagementProvide support and proactively communicate with internal customers.Recommend improvements to existing operational procedures focused on efficiency and cost.Create, issue and close Work Orders.
