Time Type: Full time Department: Finance All Locations: 151 Orleans Street Position Summary: Receives stores, maintains, and distributes materials and equipment in accordance with departmental policies to meet customers’ needs. Reports to the Materials Manager. + Maintains adequate levels of inventory. + Receive all goods, inspect for damages, and verify against purchase orders. + Distribute supplies to appropriate locations. + Enter receipts in the Oracle database. + Provide courteous phone coverage and respond to requests with a sense of urgency. + Always maintain confidentiality. + Maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with vehicle policies. + Maintain the stockroom area making sure that room is clean, safe, and orderly. + Promotes courteous and respectful interpersonal relationships with staff, providers, and visitors all times. + Wear designated uniform and are well groomed. + Promotes a sense of “teamwork” through demonstration of self-direction and self-motivation. Solves problems independently or knows when to seek consultation. Works cooperatively and respectfully with others at all levels of the organization. + Performs other duties as assigned within the timeframes established by the requester. + Adheres to all Neighborhealth and department policies. Physical Environment: Frequent sitting, standing & walking, and lifting to 50 lbs. Responsible for supply delivery outdoors and in all weather conditions. Manual Dexterity: Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate computer keyboard. Audible/Visual Demands: Requires ability to see computer screens and reports. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required EDUCATION: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required EXPERIENCE: One to two years’ work experience preferred SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must maintain a valid MA driver’s license and good driving record. Must be able to push/pull hand truck and lift boxes. Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 up to $33.00 based on experience.
