In this position, employee will wear multiple hats. Candidate will support the Shipping Logistics Coordinator, warehouse supervisor, and master schedulers, handling day-to-day shipment issues with internal and external Cameron facilities and customers while working closely with the warehouse team. The coordinator will manage urgent orders, ensure shipping metrics are met, and schedule shipments for pick-up or will-call. Acting as the main point of contact for all third-party logistics (3PL) and warehouse distribution partners, including OKC and Ville Platte, they will facilitate the smooth flow of information and inventory. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for coordinating shipment scheduling and routing from the plant, as well as overseeing and assisting in the preparation of required shipping forms and documentation for both inbound and outbound shipments. Additionally, employee is responsible for full customs, trade control and other transport regulatory compliance of logistics activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and attention to detail to support efficient warehouse logistics operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
+ Process, schedule, and monitor all shipments, coordinating with XPO Logistics and GF.
+ Generate shipping labels, packing slips, Bills of Lading, Delivery Notes, and provide tracking information and documentation as requested in a timely manner.
+ Review completed pick lists for accuracy and completeness, enter order adjustments and trailer/seal information, and print shipping paperwork.
+ Prepare and provide shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Shipper’s Letters of Intent, Certificates of Origin, and tracking numbers.
+ Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing material.
+ Resolve shipment issues with external customers and sister companies, such as mis-shipments or damaged cargo. · Create and manage all shipping documents.
+ Process small parcel shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
+ Coordinate and prioritize work based on guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor, Planning Team, and Management.
+ Manage a shared mailbox and handle phone inquiries from customers and sales representatives.
+ Communicate and follow up on safety concerns with the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager as needed.
+ Follow up with customers and carriers regarding complaints or shipment queries, keeping them informed of changes and expected delivery dates.
+ High school diploma or GED 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
+ Knowledge of company products; of storage locations; of order filling methods; of forms and records used; of part numbering system; of forklift operation.
+ Ability to follow written and oral instruction; to work with minimal supervision; to remember a variety of items in detail; to cooperate and work well with coworkers; and to observe safe working practices and policies.
