Job Description:
The Material Data Analyst for the Reconditioning Program will be responsible for analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and transforming legacy engineering BOMs to reconditioning BOMs.
This role will involve cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sourcing, and production teams to ensure accuracy in BOMs, material specifications and availability. The analyst will review historical and current data to assess material usage trends, lead times, and cost implications. This position requires strong attention to detail, data management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ultimately, the analyst’s insights are critical for efficiency and cost-effectiveness in restoring machines for resale.
Responsibilities
Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for current and legacy machines
Interpret engineering BOMs and translate that to a reconditioning BOM
Supporting information transfer related to BOMs and ECOs between Genie and Genie Reconditioning
Create processes and methodologies for collecting relevant supply chain data
Analyze data to identify issues and recommend process improvements
Plan and execute supply chain optimization projects
Define requirements and standards for packaging, procurement, delivery, and warehousing
Collaborate with IT professionals to implement and maintain effective systems
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance
Develop tools to identify data gaps from MRP and DMD planning perspectives
Respond to ad hoc data requests and support cross-functional teams as needed
Qualifications
Experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or similar role
Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
SQL / Python / R
Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, production management)
Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, Oracle and MRP systems
Analytical mind with business acumen
Problem-solving aptitude
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
BSc/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and garner influence without formal authority.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication in English.
Fluent and highly proficient in English.
Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or Logistics preferred.
Strong background in mathematics and data management
