Description
We are looking for an experienced Materials (Inventory) Coordinator to join our client's team in Miamisburg, Ohio. As a Contract-to-permanent position, this opportunity allows for growth and development within the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:
• Evaluate customer requirements and generate accurate forecasts to ensure inventory meets demand.
• Manage inventory levels, including safety stock, to maintain optimal supply.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor purchase orders, inventory levels, and customer requirements to maintain efficient operations.
• Oversee the entire supply chain process, from incoming orders to outgoing shipments, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Utilize ERP systems for effective inventory and logistics management.
• Apply intermediate Excel skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Assess situations quickly and make decisive actions to address operational challenges.
• Collaborate across teams, asking questions and using deductive reasoning to solve problems independently.

Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and a strong understanding of supply chain logistics.
• Intermediate Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively.
• Ability to handle purchase orders and ensure accurate processing.
• Strong analytical skills to assess situations and make quick decisions.
• Experience in maintaining adequate inventory and safety stock levels.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and confidence in independent decision-making.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
