Our client, a leader in manufacturing intelligence, is seeking a **Materials Coordinato** r to join their team. As a Materials Coordinator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Materials Coordinator
**Location:** On-site – North Kingstown, RI
**Pay Range:** $37.00
Shift : 7-3:30PM
Temporary Role- 6 Months
**What's the Job?**
+ Receive incoming goods and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
+ Transfer materials into secondary storage locations using appropriate equipment.
+ Maintain inventory control and ensure stock accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
+ Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
+ Pick materials for production, verify counts, and resolve discrepancies or inventory issues promptly.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience with general warehousing and shop floor control processes.
+ Proficiency in performing inventory transactions and understanding material flow.
+ Skilled in using material handling equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).
+ Basic understanding or experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and transaction logging.
+ Ability to engage in frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
