Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional and detail-oriented individual to join our Supply Chain Management department as a Materials Clerk. This position is Monday – Friday on swing shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) and the starting wage is $20.00 per hour. As a Materials Clerk a typical day might include the following: 

Receive, store, and deliver materials for use in production.

Perform inventory cycle counts and provide support to other areas as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and collaborate with Purchasing to resolve any discrepancies as needed.

Perform vehicle and other power industrial truck inspections, ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of vehicles, equipment and supplies.

This job might be for you if you:

Have previous experience in warehousing and inventory management.

Have a continuous improvement mindset.

Are highly organized and have strong data entry, proofreading, and documentation skills. 

Have a commercial driver’s license or experience operating Crown WAV and/or Crown Reach industrial equipment.

Are able to sit all day, stand all day, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Receiving/Warehousing Experience

Experience in forklift truck operation

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds

Pay Range Data

New hires generally start at $20.00 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
