The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing material selection, quality assurance, compliance testing, and approval processes to ensure alignment with project specifications and international standards."" + Review and approve material submittals in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards (ASTM, BS, AASHTO, etc.). + Conduct technical evaluations and inspections of construction materials (e.g., asphalt, concrete, aggregates, steel, etc.). + Coordinate with laboratories for material testing, site sampling, and quality reports. + Ensure compliance of all construction materials with quality control procedures and regulatory requirements. + Evaluate and approve sources of materials and monitor their usage across the project. + Work closely with design and construction teams to resolve material-related issues. + Prepare material compliance reports, NCRs, and corrective/preventive action plans as required. + Assist in auditing supplier and subcontractor facilities for quality assurance purposes. + Monitor and document the performance of materials during and after implementation. + Contribute to the development and implementation of the Material Approval Process (MAP). + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. + Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with consultant-side infrastructure projects. + Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects in the GCC region is highly preferred. + Deep knowledge of international construction material standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, etc.). + Strong understanding of construction methodologies, QA/QC procedures, and material testing protocols. + Excellent communication and report-writing skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment. + Experience with infrastructure elements such as roads, bridges, underpasses, stormwater systems, and utilities is essential.
