Description Now Hiring: Material Specialist – John Deere Drivetrain Operations (DTO) Location: JD Waterloo Works – Waterloo, IA Shift: 1st Shift | Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (with potential overtime) Join the Drivetrain Operations team at John Deere Waterloo Works and play a key role in supporting supply chain functions that keep our world-class equipment moving. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, driven individual with strong organizational and computer skills to thrive in this fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Support supply chain operations by working directly with teams on the shop floor and in office settings. + Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other tools. + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials. + Participate in meetings and support planning activities across Waterloo sites. *Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. *Metatarsal protection for the first day. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. + Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel). + Manufacturing experience is a plus. + Recent graduates welcome; preference given to candidates with 3–5 years of work history post-graduation. + Willingness to work off-shift hours and occasional weekends as needed. + Must be able to work 50% of the time on the shop floor.
