Material solution Engineer

Job Description:

Research and analyze spares planning and logistics data and convert findings into profitable contracts for Initial Provisioning, Customized Spares Logistics and Customized Lead-Time.

Develop proposals for improvement of customers' processes and supply chain.

Develop and conduct customers training sessions.

The jobholder is responsible for:

Developing, through the technical knowledge of the A/C configuration systems, the aircraft maintenance plans and the technical publications, the necessary capabilities to create customized spare parts lists, according to the Customers´ and ADS´s requirements.

Act as Focal point for offers for material services calculating and consolidating the cost base, creating the respective Bidding Dossiers, optimizing/improving the available Material Data and preparing the documentation for the materials solution definition

Defining and optimizing Initial Provisioning (IPL), Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) and if needed generating SoWs for subcontracted activities related to Material Solutions, in accordance with customer requirements

Alignment of all Materiel Services aspects with reference to its Materiel Services performance and functions within Airbus, within the Partner Companies, Suppliers and Nations

Generate and continuously optimize/improve integrated, complete and accurate data and assumptions to be used for Spares Modelling.

Representing ADS in front of the Customer, at Initial Provisioning Conference.
