Lead and develop metallographic and microscopy inspection techniques in lab environmentInteract and lead lab technicianIdentify and communicate to leadership schedule pressures and implement plans to mitigate the impact of those pressures on program deliverables.Participate in specific organizational initiatives.Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineer, material science or engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing)Candidate must be a U.S. CitizenCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceHaving a learning mindset and willingness to ask for help when unsureAbility to communicate effectively and work cross functionally with other teamsExperience working with industry specificationsTest experience
