Material Puller I- 2nd Shift Temporary

This temporary position will have a set schedule of Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 12am. Pay for this position is set at $15.00/per hour plus a shift differential.
Job Summary
Retrieves and packages the necessary products for each customer order. Operates Lamons Production System (LPS) software to retrieve information about orders. Retrieves raw material needed in the production process or retrieves finished products for packaging.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Retrieves and packages products based on customer orders.
+ Documents raw material transactions and completion of packaging through Syteline and Lamons Production System.
+ Retrieves raw materials needed in the production process to create final products.
+ Retrieves appropriate material from storage location(s).
+ Packages finished products to prevent damage during normal handling & to customer order requirements.
+ Packages materials for OPF orders.
+ Maintains accurate identification barcode labeling.
+ Issues materials from stock for shipment to customers on sales orders.
+ Participates in maintaining accurate inventory records.
+ Completes daily physical counting, cycle counts, and bin locates.
+ Uses scanners to complete moves, locate items, print bar code labels, find items, and maintain accurate inventory.
+ Assures all pulled orders meet any special label or packaging required.
+ Responsible for sending certified product and confirming all products ready for packaging have successfully passed quality assurance standards.
+ Reviews and confirms accuracy for size, quantity, and quality of materials or finished products.
+ Operates a forklift to retrieve material or finished goods.
+ Participates in daily cleaning and organization of the warehouse area.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills
+ Ability to understand written/verbal instructions.
+ Basic computer knowledge and skills.
+ Strong knowledge of linear measurements.
+ Ability to problem solve and strong communication skills.
+ Ability to work well within a team setting.
Education
+ Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
+ Required: 1 year of experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with a preference to the experience being in the Oil and Gas industry.
+ Required: 1 year of previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
+ Continuous standing and/or walking
+ Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.
+ Good eye/hand/foot coordination
+ Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
+ Must be able to lift fifty pounds independently.
