The Material Planner 1 is responsible for working with our expert Materials Management team  to ensure a timely supply of materials to our production teams to support our customer needs.

This position reports to the Value Stream Materials Manager and is part of the Cell Culture – Dry Powder Media department Located in Logan Utah and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

Maintaining inventory levels to support the needs of production and inventory targets through PO placement and order management, maintain planning parameters to support the material planEscalating risks due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing issues, and database management based on monitoring supplier quality, delivery performance, and developing improvement strategiesBuilding relationships with suppliers through daily interactionsPartnering with key stakeholders including Quality, Sourcing, Distribution, Receiving, and Logistics to ensure sourced materials meet the needs of the businessWork on projects with cross functional teams to deliver results, often requiring decision making through formal and informal problem solving to improve processes and performance

Who you are:

Associates degree, or High School diploma/GED and 3 years supply chain experienceProficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communicationEffective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple prioritiesStrong team-player, willing to support others in achieving goalsPrevious experience with material management, planning or procurement

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

ERP/ASCP PlanningPowerBIAPICS or other supply related certifications

The annual salary range for this role is $52,000 - $65,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
