Material Planner
**Key Responsibilities** + Ensure safe working environment. + Manage its team based on Employee Involvement principles + Define raw material and BOP inventory strategy and ensures supplier schedulers apply the policy. + Ensure alignment of systems parameters and rigorous management of Master Data for all external supplies. + Drive MPS and SIOP activities related to external supply planning / scheduling. + Manage relationship with critical suppliers as required + Anticipate any delivery delay from suppliers and manage emergency activities + Ensure appropriate supply chain metric targets are achieved (e.g. supplier DSA, Raw Material inventory turns). a. Determine action plans to improve measures. + Proactively communicate/escalate to the management team potential delivery issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions in order to mitigate supply failure risk, + Monitor Stock cover daily in order to avoid Stock outs + Maintain the highest standards of Health and safety, environment, 5S, Lean Enterprise, and Quality System. **Competences** + Expert level for: SIOP / MPS / MRP, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Inventory Management, + Practitioner level for Master Data Management, + Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, Customs, Transport & International regulations, + End-to-End visibility and data exchange, + Performance Monitoring + “soft skills” from leadership framework + Material Management must be readiness and prompt before production + No material shortage cause from Supply Chain false + No material obsolete keep longer than 6 months (after EOP) in Warehouse + No Premium freight (Air freight cost) cause from Supply chain + Manage stock level (Stock in day coverage and Productive Stock Turn) according to monthly target + Control BOI privilege, Customs and Duty to manage material with no premium or extra cost and no loss cause from Supply chain + Support VAVE, New project/program to archive time line + Supplier Exchange and/or EDI system knowledge **Minimum Desired Person Specification:** + Able to communicate in English (speaking, writing) + Import and Export, Privilege knowledge (BOI) + Able to operate computer + Team work and Leadership skill + MFG-PRO/QAD system + Warehouse and Logistics Or any ERP system (MRP) + E-Kanban, FIFO management, Sense of Emergency GKN Driveline provides equal employment and affirmative action opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, pregnancy, or disability.
