The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials required for production. This role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating raw materials and components to meet production demands while minimizing inventory costs and avoiding shortages.

What You’ll Do:
Arrange transportation for customer orders, warehouse transfers, returns and discard for United States and CanadaCollaborate cross functionally to ensure cost effective transportation while maintaining customer satisfaction levelsEnsure inventory accuracy through transactional excellenceEstablish and maintain strong relationships with carriers & key partners in the supply chain networkMaintain carrier contracts and insuranceEvaluate carrier performance and recommend improvementsRespond to delivery complaints and logistics incident as primary point of contactIdentify and implement process/project improvements10% TravelOther duties as assignedQualifications
Systems: Primarily working in Oracle, Sage & TMXStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) principles is a plus.Excel & MS Office SuitesEducation:
Associate degree required; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of logistics experience will be considered.What Skills You Need:
