Act as a Material planner for a new investment project in South Korea for Life Science business during start-up and later in operations. The candidate will be responsible for products transfer related function and planning and scheduling activities and key user role from start-up and future plant routine operation.

 

Your Role:

 

Execute and manage material requirements planning (MRP) using APO/SAP for raw materials and buy/resell finished goods.Ensure material availability in alignment with forecasted demand and production plans across the supply chain.Create and manage purchase requisitions generated by the system for raw materials and buy/resell products.Oversee the end-to-end procurement process to support production schedules.Regularly review and maintain safety stock levels and days of supply to support customer service levels and minimize excess inventoryManage and take action on slow-moving, blocked, obsolete, and excess inventory, including redeployment or scrapping when needed.Monitor system alerts and shortage reports daily to ensure proactive risk management.Identify and escalate any potential \"at-risk\" inventory to the Supply Chain Analyst for early resolution.Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Accounting, Quality, and Warehousing teams to ensure smooth material flow and stock accuracy.Coordinate with global and regional teams for alignment on material supply and risk mitigation.Experience intercompany process via EDI among ERP systemsAssist management to achieve SCM KPI in daily operationCommunicate and cooperation with intercompany and 3rd party suppliers as daily basis for the fulfillment of customer's orders.Develop and maintain the production planning work related SOPs and document in timely manner.Monitor shipments, assuring that production is achieving 100% on time in full delivery.Determine the need for expediting and complete form for approvalGood understanding on SAP Master data

 

 

 

Who you are:

 

Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management/Engineering or Supply Chain would be advantageous+5 years’ experience in the related areasSupply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environmentTechnical Skills and Knowledge about SAP PP/MM module or SAP APO planningSAP launch experience preferredCPIM or CSCP certificate is preferredGood command in English and Korean in writing and speakingCustomer orientationAbility to work within a team environment and with cross-functional teamsA demonstrated proactive, problem-solving mentality with analytical skillsTime management skills, ability to prioritizeAnalytical, problem solving, Skills of organizational and teamwork to work in an environment with changing priorities, along with the ability to effectively manage projectsGood teamwork attitude, initiative, and hard-working, and good communication skills.
