Your Role:
In this role, you will manage and develop a training program for warehouse employees, reporting and tracking key metrics, identify and lead improvement projects, troubleshoot inventory errors, and more. The focus of this position is on improvement of the department’s processes regarding safety, quality, compliance, productivity, cycle times, and reliability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and enhance employee training and development programs, including scheduling, progress assessment, and identifying retraining needs. Generate management reports by extracting key metrics from SAP, developing trending charts and identifying improvement opportunities. Monitor warehouse capacity for all St. Louis Materials Management locations. Provide troubleshooting support to Warehouse Leads and Supervisors, tracking errors, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with other departments on corrective actions. Lead and support warehouse improvement projects, ensuring internal customer needs are met.Physical Attributes:
Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and more than 50 pounds assisted.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.4+ years of work experience in Data Analysis, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or other business discipline.Proficient in data extraction and node-based programming, or other Relational Database. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Proficient in SAP for warehousing, receiving, and inventory.Strong organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience leading successful improvement projects.Experience working both as a team and independently.
