Material Handling Mechanic 
East Point, GA 
Pay: $33 - $40  per hour depending on experience 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide professional and accurate repairs for all material handling equipment, complete each repair job on time, and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) compliance while troubleshooting and repairing all Material Handling Equipment (MHE)  Document all job information while managing your workload effectively  Diagnose and rebuild forklift handling equipment while delivering the best customer service possible   Other duties as assigned 

Qualification Requirements 

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience  Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations Ability to work any schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to utilize an on board computer and desktop computer (PC, Windows, Microsoft Programs, etc) Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to be able to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records
