**Job Description:** **Title:** **Material Handler - Shipping** Job Code: Department: 3042 _The Material Handler - Shipping is responsible for facilitating the packaging and shipment of Service product._ **Duties and Responsibilities** + Follow battery regulations + Load skids as boxes and totes are labeled and ready to ship. + Assist with tote verification as needed + Practice 5S and safety + Ability to interact well with staff members at all levels + Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction. + Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned including working alternate shifts and weekends as needed **Physical Demands** + Standing for long periods of time + Repetitive motion + Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds + Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and containers + Able to work in various temperature conditions **Education and Experience Requirements:** + High School or GED diploma required. + Experience in shipping and receiving preferred + Basic computer skills required + Excellent communication skills + High level of attention to detail **Physical and Weight Lifting Demands** _The physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
