Location/Division Specific Information:This role is based at our Loughborough, UK site, supporting our Laboratory Chemicals Division. We distil, pack, and ship laboratory analytical reagents and other chemicals that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer
How Will You Make an Impact?:You will be an integral part of the sites supply chain and play a key part in receiving, storing and distributing product to ensure we meet the needs of the internal and external customers.
A Day in the Life:
Attend and participate in daily departmental tier meetingsReceive external deliveriesConfirm reception of deliveries by booking into the systemsTransact inventory movements with systemsCarry out cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyPalletise completed packs and assist with the movement of raw materials and finished goods.Sample materials for QC analysisUnloading of road tankers into bulk tank storageDeliver materials to production areasCarry out PPI activitiesPrepare waste chemicals for storage and transportationCarry out cleaning and validation of returnable containersEducation: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.
Experience:Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related fieldPreferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Be able to follow site H&S and Quality procedures and policiesBe able to use MRP/ERP systemsBe able to understand and follow SOP's, BPI's & working instructionsChemical awareness knowledgePhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentFace fit testingWhat We OfferCompensation
