Job ResponsibilitiesReview daily production schedules with the press manufacturing manager to prioritize raw material distribution.Request material orders to satisfy inventory requirements as needed.Check availability of materials before job start-up and proactively advance any material shortages or issues to management.Deliver raw materials to the appropriate production areas before each job run, ensuring they are accurately labeled and securely placed.Remove materials no longer needed in production areas and return them to accurate storage or inventory.Deliver manufactured components between production staging areas and inventory as per designated work instructions.Maintain clean and orderly primary and secondary staging and storage areas, ensuring all pallets are wrapped and secured.Remove finished pallets from production, stretch wrap if needed, and return to warehouse as per established work instructions.Perform monthly inventory checks on all stock items and forward results to the manager.Participate in required training sessions for standard operating procedures, quality, and safety.Assist Inventory Technicians with maintaining accurate raw material inventory counts.Deliver finished goods from the press area to the warehouse.Keep all raw material storage areas clean and organized.Assist the warehouse group as time permits.Conduct all activities safely and efficiently.Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Job Requirements1+ years of forklift experience (sit-down, or stand-up reach truck)Working mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.Ability to stand continuously (50-79%) and walk frequently (50-79%).Occasionally sit (1-49%), frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds (50-79%), occasionally up to 70 pounds (1-49%).Ability to bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and adjust focus.Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.Exposure to moving equipment and heights occasionally (1-49%).Join our ambitious team dedicated to shaping a healthier, safer world!
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $22.00–$23.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
