Material Handler II - 2nd Shift - $21.40/HR

Schedule: 2nd shift Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Willingness and ability to work extended workweek including weekends as needed).

What you will do

Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of components used in manufacturing, management of material flow into the production scheme, and coordinating the flow of materials requiring transportation within the manufacturing facility.   

Work with quality and production to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant (kanban system)

Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as required.

Must be able to proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.

Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability.

Conducts fact finding and problem solving as required.

Assist the Team leader with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed.

What you need:

Required

Experience operating forklifts and/or working with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems to support warehouse and inventory operations.

Experience in performing and executing material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED

Manufacturing Experience

Must be willing and able to obtain a forklift license - required.
