What you will do -
As a Service Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment under minimal supervision. You will also:
Work with quality and production to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as requiredOperate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and dolliesWork with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceabilityConduct fact finding and problem solving as requiredAssist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directedTake responsibility for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area Commit to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance and meeting all training and documentation criteriaWhat you need –
Required
High School Diploma or GED/equivalentAt least 2 years experience with manufacturing or warehousing environmentAbility to read and write to review documentation and utilize inventory system accuratelyAbility to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as neededPreferred
Experience with Systems Applications & Products (SAP) or with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsExperience with order processing, analyzing/resolving customer or operations issues, and/or communicating detailed product information are a plusTravel Percentage: 0%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
