Responsibilities

As a Material Handler I at IGT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within our West Greenwich, RI. This position is key to the success of our operations, as you will be responsible for receiving, wrapping, shipping, and moving materials. Your contributions are vital to maintaining our exceptionally high standards and delivering premier service. Pickup (interdepartmental), wrap, label, box, and ship all parts and components

Ensure inventory transactions and material receipts are done accurately and promptly

Perform all duties required for shipping and receiving materials

Place stock into inventory locations promptly

Coordinate the warehouse as instructed

Assist in loading and unloading trucks

Comply strictly with all safety and materials handling policies and procedures

Work autonomously with little oversight

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications

High school diploma (required)

1-2 years of experience in stock or material movement

Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Capability to stand for a full shift and work overtime as required

Proficiency in using a pallet jack

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Forklift experience (preferred)

SAP System experience (preferred)

UPS WorldShip / CampusShip experience (preferred)

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,680 - $46,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
