Boise Cascade has openings for Material Handlers at our Lakeville, MN location. Current opportunities for forklift operators and Engineered Wood (EWP) Cutters.

Monday - Friday, 7am start time. Starting pay is $20-$24 per hour depending on experience + bonus. EWP Cutters receive $2 differential.

No weekends, great benefits that start day one! Full time.  Enclosed Forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, select, and load materials Operate forklift safely and efficiently Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily Maintain clean working area Use Chainsaw and package materials (Engineered Wood EWP Cutters only). Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance) Perform daily safety checks on forklifts Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Basic: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions Preferred: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance) Familiarity with building materials Able to measure and calculate material lengths

Work Environment:

High traffic warehouse and yard Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions
