Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler - Forklift Driver, where you will work with cutting-edge customized mechanical products across various industries such as rail and transportation, telecommunication, homeland security, industrial robotics, and medical sectors. As part of your role, you will operate sit-down propane and reach forklifts to ensure your department has all the necessary materials. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, supporting the team by placing materials in the right location, or delivering them to the correct production station. Additionally, you will prepare packaging for shipments and unpack received packages.
ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down propane and reach forklifts to transport materials.Load and unload materials efficiently.Support the team by placing materials in designated locations or delivering them to production stations.Prepare packaging for shipments and unpack received packages.Ensure safe handling of heavy metal pieces to prevent accidents.Work in welding and assembly departments, adhering to safety protocols.Essential SkillsCertification and experience in operating forklifts.Experience in materials handling.Background in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.Ability to work in fast-paced settings.Proficiency in either French or English.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sit-down propane and reach forklifts.Bilingual capabilities.Physical ability to lift heavy pieces and perform physical work.
