General Responsibilities
Responsible for transporting raw materials (rolls), work in process(WIP) and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production, load and unload rolls from transport trucks
* Loads finished goods onto transport trucks
* Move WIP from cutters/presses and locate in racks
* Unload WIP from transport trucks and unload rolls of board from trucks and locate in the warehouse computer system
* Move WIP from racks to gluers
* Check work conditions and safety of forklift and clamp truck equipment daily before use
* Perform various other tasks as assigned
What you need to succeed:
* GED/High School diploma required
* Must have a minimum of two (2) years material handling in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes, or labels
* Ability to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions
* Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
* Ability to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order - the problems are routine and easy to recognize
* Ability to make decisions that are short-range and usually affect only a small group or work team
* Ability to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directions
* Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures following established patterns
