**Job Description**
**Job Summary**
This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is responsible for performing all tasks involved with shipping, receiving, storing of materials, supplies and equipment.
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. **Essential Functions**
+ Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment to include recording and maintaining shipping data.
+ Follow shipping policy and procedures, responsible for preparing UPS, Federal Express and other carrier shipment documents.
+ Follows receiving procedure for incoming materials.
+ Verifies and identifies information and quantities against packing slip and purchase orders; counts items and indicates discrepancies.
+ Enters incoming receipt of materials in database upon completion and verification of physical counts.
+ Reports discrepancies to supervisor.
+ Assists with maintaining accuracy of stockroom inventory.
+ Kits work orders and fills shortages.
+ May perform other duties as assigned by Shipping Supervisor.
**Qualifications**
+ 1-2 years of experience in shipping & stockroom practices and procedures.
+ Basic reading, writing, and communication in English.
+ Basic knowledge of mathematics, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
+ Basic computer skills and use of scales - shipping, packing, weighing equipment.
+ A High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
**Physical Requirements**
+ This position will require the ability to lift up to but no more than 50 lbs. unassisted. Will also require frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
**Salary Range:**
$37,200.00-$49,600.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
