Job Description

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment, a can-do attitude, flexibility, and the ability to follow procedures. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and team-spirited.

Pay Rate: $18-21

ResponsibilitiesPick and verify products for transfers to other facilities.Receive inter-site transfers for daily packaging and raw material needs.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in tight spaces.Provide production support, including picking and verifying products needed by each zone daily and put-away of returns when necessary.Put away all inbound products, including picking and verifying products.Label all products correctly with all required labels.Use RF scanner to move products systematically in real time to ensure inventory accuracy.Complete required paperwork accurately and honestly, where applicable.Adhere to posted Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) when working within the production facility.Essential SkillsForklift operationPickingSit down forklift operationForklift/Pallet Jack operationRF scanner usageInventory managementProduction supportAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow GMP practicesWhy Work Here

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced food manufacturing facility focused on producing high-quality soups, sides, and entrées. Employees work within dynamic production schedules requiring flexibility and responsiveness. The facility offers multiple warehouse shifts, including first, second, and third shifts, with shift differentials for later shifts. Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged, and the facility supports skilled trades roles, including Maintenance Tech positions. New hires typically train on the first shift before transitioning to their designated schedules.

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
