**Job Title: Material Coordinator**
**Job Description**
Responsible for overseeing production control activities to support manufacturing operations. This role involves creating work orders, managing component issues, and providing documentation support according to production schedules. Additionally, the position includes miscellaneous support activities for both Manufacturing and Materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all QAD production and inventory-related transactions are completed promptly.
+ Support CER in backflushing components to work orders and completing work orders via QAD transactions.
+ Assist the Materials team with Kanban component fulfillment.
+ Provide work order support to meet production schedules and assist in production prioritization.
+ Analyze inventory discrepancies in production control and finished goods areas.
+ Collaborate with management to maintain production schedules and reports.
+ Be fully cross-trained in all production control activities.
+ Provide backup for Materials Handling, Shipping, and Receiving functions.
+ Perform production control activities under direct supervision and independently resolve routine issues.
+ Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
+ Comply with written company policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in material handling, inventory management, and work orders.
+ Proficiency with ERP systems, especially in a cleanroom or medical device setting.
+ Ability to perform cycle counting and manage shipping and receiving operations.
+ Familiarity with warehouse operations and work order management.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ QAD experience is desirable; JDE, SAP, or SysPro experience is preferred.
+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in basic mathematics and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
+ Familiarity with the 'kanban' process for inventory management.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
