Material Handler
Adecco is hiring immediately for a **Material Handler** with a local client in **Kansas City, MO** ! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below! + **Contract Type:** Temp (12 months) + **Pay:** $21.00 / hr + **Shift/Hours:** Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm **Essential Duties:** Administrative: • Morning inventory system updates and administrative reporting • Preparing or supporting inventory reports for management when requested • Processing material requisitions and tracking documentation • Supporting procurement processes with accurate record-keeping • Coordinating material movements and updating tracking systems • Resolving inventory discrepancies through administrative investigation • Follow Safety protocols and ensure adherence to PPE policies • Transition between administrative tasks and physical inventory management Material Handling: • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments. • Transport materials to designated storage or production areas. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. • Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored. Stock Room Operations: • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom. • Issue materials to departments as requested. • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overages. • Update inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system. Cycle Counting: • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts. • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. • Record and report count results and variances. • Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation **.** **Basic Qualifications:** Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
