Our client, a leader in the materials handling industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Warrendale, PA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday thru Friday 7:15 AM-3:45 PM

What's the Job?

Perform routine manual and clerical duties in material handling such as receiving, cleaning, stocking, storing, issuing, packaging, and shipping materials. Enter information into the computer business system to process orders and ensure inventory accuracy. Transport equipment, parts, and materials between company facilities as needed. Receive incoming material from trucks, verify receipt, and move material to proper locations. Deliver and pick up materials to/from designated customer sites using a delivery vehicle.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or GED, plus two years of work experience including delivery truck experience, or equivalent education and experience. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record. Ability to pass a medical examination for Commercial Driver Fitness (DOT Medical) card. Basic knowledge of arithmetic and metric/standard measurements. Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office and ERP/MRP.
