Material Handler

Job Description:

Material Handler is responsible for various tasks within a warehouse environment while maintaining safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Move raw materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using a forklift

Clean, organize and maintain overall appearance of the work area

Follow proper maintenance procedures for the forklift

Prepare materials for processing

Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Crushing Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to become certified in forklift operation

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift experience

Basic math skills

Mechanically inclined

Industrial work experience

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

Push/pull loads with a pallet jack

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Push/pull 100 lbs.

Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks

Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

Work in a non-climate controlled environment

Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift

Bend over multiple times throughout shift
 

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Steel toed boots

Hearing protection

Cut resistant gloves

Safety glasses

Respirator

High visibility vest

Hard hat


Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66 (with differential included). Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
