Job Description:
About the Role:
Maintains production by moving products and materials to and from warehouse and production area. Maintains hygiene and housekeeping by following good manufacturing procedures.
Receives production orders and plans day to make sure that materials are delivered promptly from warehouse to line to ensure that production standards are met.Remove and replace unused material.Transfer unused materials to and from the warehouses.Prepares stock for shipment by securing product with stretch wrap slip-sheet or pallet product.Transports product from production floor to warehouse using forklift.Removes trash product from oven and production floor and move to waste dumpster.Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection, making operator repairs such as changing batteries.Ensures good manufacturing procedures by following housekeeping standards and assisting in sanitation duties as needed.Engagement in plant Continuous Improvement efforts including participation with Process Improvement Teams.Identify improvement opportunities and 5S initiatives.Contributes to team effort by performing other assigned duties as needed.Maintains cooperative relationship with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building report; and participating in problem solving methods.Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 11:00p to 7:00a Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. $1.70/hr shift differential included.
