Material Handler / 3rd Shift Requisition ID: 44233 Job Location(s): Ames, IA, US Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: Supply Chain and Operations Work Location Type: On-site **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + Label, palletize, weigh and ship products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to pull/fill orders for shipments to customers accurately and on time + Provide material handling services for production plant. + Determine products and location in order to count and pull the correct amount of product to accurately fill orders + Quickly read and understand shop orders and ascertain part numbers and quantities needed per each package + Accurately package and label each carton/package + Retrieve/pull product from bins or shelves either manually or using various types of mechanized material handling equipment + Perform minimal preventive maintenance activities **Background & Skills** **Required (Basic) Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required + One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment for warehouse facility + Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be local-no relocation offered + Ability to operate a forklift safely is required.
