**99349BR** **Job Title:** Material Handler (2nd shift) - Quincy, IL **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Material Handler - Quincy, IL** Location: 2100 Gardner Expressway, Quincy IL 62305 Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Job Type: Full Time Compensation: $25.42/hour, plus $1.00/hour shift differential **Job Duties** + Knowledge of department order of operations. + Knowledge of the process of Sampling, weighing, generating customer tickets, and dumping customer grain trucks. + Know how to operate the PAX equipment management software. + Sweeps out grain bins and scrapes hoppers to remove remaining grain. + Training on grain grading proficiency. + Knowledge of all company environmental and safety rules. + Work in situations where human error could result in financial loss or personal injury. + Material handlers are directly involved with placing grain throughout the facility and ensuring that grain is segregated as needed to maintain good quality in our storage tanks. + Rotate product as necessary. + Housekeeping is still a job duty of all ADM employees. **Requirements** + 18 years or older + High School Diploma or GED Equivalent + Valid Driver’s License + Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. + Ensure product quality expectations are met. + Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required. + Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule. + Work with other colleagues to effectively communicate production issues. + Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance. + Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues. + Required to work overtime as specified by management. + Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned. **Perks & Benefits** Enriching the quality of life for the world begins by taking care of our colleagues.
