The role.
Position Overview:
This position is in a collective bargaining Union and is a 2nd shift position. Must be willing to train on first shift until fully qualified.
Responsibilities
Prepare, store, load, unload, put away, and assist in all material movement and storage functions. Clean, de-burr and wash bearing housings, yokes, castings and other various machine parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Generic:
•Perform housekeeping and 5S activities adhering to all OSHA and Innomotics LLC safety and work practice policies.
•Interpret drawings, specifications and Manufacturing Methods.
•Measure and record dimensions using measuring equipment related to processes.
•Stamp or sign-off and date all labor packet operations performed.
•Follow appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
•Must be able to work independently with minimal direction from supervisor.
•Must meet all physical job requirements.
•Perform material handling, and other assigned tasks (hand truck, crane).
•Adhere to all safe work practices and plant rules of conduct.
•Adhere to all outlined section and operational processes and procedures.
•Notify supervisor of quality, process and/or safety issues and concerns.
Specific:
•Verify, and visually inspect material against lists or traveler
•Store and index all materials as necessary
•Handle and transport hazardous waste as required by state, federal and local government agencies along with Innomotics Manufacturing Methods. Inspect haz-waste accumulation drum for proper labeling, signs of leakage and ensure the accumulation date and contents are listed on the Haz-waste label before moving the drum to the Hazardous Waste Storage Area.
•Dispose of all scraps and trash. Keep areas clean and organized.
•Assist in movement of machinery and material as required by maintenance.
•Transport, store, and supply all stationary supplies as necessary
•Maintain KANBAN areas
•Perform cycle counts, as required
•Perform transport duties in all departments
•Knowledge of material flow lanes and storage locations in plant to ensure materials are picked, delivered, recorded promptly and accurately without damage to materials, plant and equipment or other persons Job Description Classification Material Handler & Wash/De-Burr Operator
• Perform various deburring operations, cleaning and washing bearing housings, yokes,
castings and other various machine parts per manufacturing methods.
• Use multimeter and other simple testing equipment.
Demonstrated ability to operate fork and hand trucks, overhead cranes, hoists, and other
equipment used for storage or movement of material.

Knowledge and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent Must have the physical ability to perform work required Must be able to read and understand all drawings and Bill of Materials related to stator cores Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Experience operating overhead cranes

The pay range for this position is $22.70 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
