Using information in bill of lading package to prepare product for shipment. This includes all architectural BILCO products manufactured or stocked in the Arkansas facility. Stage and scan products accurately into the company computer system. Confirm that all products are accounted for in the system and that the load matched the order. Safely load shipments onto Less than Truckload, Full Truckload, Flatbeds and/or containers. Safely load trucks with product in such a way as to prevent damage to product, while optimizing the available cubic capacity of the truck. Complete all shipping documentation accurately, ensure that carrier has signed the bill of lading, and return paperwork to designated location daily. Label and ticket LadderUp orders via UPS or FedEx Ground as per bill of lading package. Unload incoming material and move to designated location as necessary. Ensure inventory is stored so that no damage will occur, and to minimize the time necessary to retrieve it. Ensure first-in, first-out of all inventories. Pick up finished goods from production and move to designated location in shipping department. Perform daily tow motor inspections and paperwork. Actively participate in 5S procedures and all Continuous Improvement efforts. Actively participate in annual physical inventory. Knowledge of math, with the ability to add and subtract whole numbers. Safely operate a tow motor, use a bander, use a RF Scanner and a two-way radio Safely operate a shrink wrap machine. Use small tools such as a hammer, wrench and tape measureYour Credentials:
Up to and including 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or related experiences, preferably in a manufacturing industry.The hourly wage for this position is: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
