**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Material Expediter** for our **Hanahan, SC** location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Includes receiving material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in. + Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed. + Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities. + Compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck. + Another segment of this position is the maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint. + This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + High School Diploma + Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material. + Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
