The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. The Supply Chain Tech is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas according to the defined schedule.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or GED is required

Preferred:

At least 1year related experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift- 7:00am- 3:00pmMonday-Friday with rotating weekends/holidaysFull Time/Day

Essential Functions:

Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely mannerManaged expired products, and maintain FIFOReceive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the PeopleSoft system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)Receive all cross docked items into the PeopleSoft system as appropriateReview Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriatelyCount par level areas (Nursing Units areas) weekly according to scheduleEnsure Nursing Units items have the appropriate barcodes and storage bins are cleanedRotate stock in Nursing Units areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of dateCheck after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrenceReact appropriately to Nursing Units "critical point" messages and stock outsProvide assistance to the Nursing units Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns at the nurse’s stationsHandle all emergency supply situationsRotate "on call" as appropriateVerifies accuracy of all in-coming deliveries, by counting the actualVerifies accuracy of all in-coming deliveries, by counting the actual items, comparing the count to the packing slip and receiving the items in the PeopleSoft Supply chain SystemKeep all work stations clean and organizedU-boat collection before the end of every shiftmaintain daily delivery and receiving log booksPerform other duties as assigned
