Primary Purpose Functions as the primary customer and supplier interface for the Supply Services East Department. Manages distribution and delivery from suppliers to local end users at a high service level. Receives, picks, issues, and stages material as requested. NOTE: Employees may be assigned to any storeroom located within the service territory. Primary Duties Operate equipment to support material load/unload activities, proper arrangement of laydown and staging areas and for direct field crew assistance. Manage material availability through direct integration with Work Management representatives in accordance with published work schedules. Complete purchasing/procurement of short lead time materials. Procure coded and non-coded material up to $10,000 resulting from reorder review or customer's direct request. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License Minimum of one (1) year Material Management/Procurement experience Knowledge of PC applications Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with all levels of management Working knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and Work Management Process Preferred Qualifications 4 years of college preferred Forklift experience preferred HAZMAT/MSDS experience preferred Benefits Benefits Hourly rates will be paid in accordance with terms of the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience or collective bargaining agreement: $41.26/Hr.
