Pay Range:
$20.80 - $28.60The Materials Coordinator is responsible for the providing the accurate, efficient, and quality workmanship within all Materials and Warehouse functions such as: Receiving of materials, cycle counting, material delivery and MRP Transactions to directly support Operations. The Individual must exhibit high degree of attention to detail and follow processes accurately, rapidly with minimal errors.
Position requires the ability to function with minimal oversight and convert internal demands into finished products successfully. They will execute production protocols to meet production targets assigned by management. Effectively and immediately communicate any complications that arise and then be able to work with production or cross functional team to establish and maintain a solution. Transact finished goods and manage raw material inventories to ensure accuracy within MRP system. This role will require an individual who demonstrates a proactive mindset to manage multiple tasks and drive them to completion in a timely manner.
They will also participate in general production, including and capable of:
Responsible for executing all material movement tasks within the Consumables manufacturing processes.
Responsible for supporting inventory accuracy, cycle count program, Kan Ban replenishment program and all stock transfer transactions.
Following specific procedures and remain focused on exact and repetitive transactional tasks.
Accurate data input of incoming material to appropriate personnel, warehouse, or location.
Material disposition of non-conforming product through Material Review Board (MRB).
Participate in the planning and execution of production plans with a focus on material availability and delivery.
Coordinate any material shortages and buy signals to minimize negative impacts on production execution.
Responsible for quality of work and employee safety.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse related position.
Experience in a manufacturing operations or design engineering environment.
Warehouse/Inventory/Materials Management/Shipments experience.
Experience working in an ISO compliant organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Highly organized with good attention to details and good with numbers.
Can quickly learn and apply new skills, processes, and approaches.
Good communication skills (verbal and written English) and can effectively document their work.
Exhibit a high degree of flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Basic computer literacy with MS Office software environment
