Summary CHENEGA RELIABLE SERVICES, LLC Suitland, MD THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD The Material Coordinator directly supervises the warehouse function. Plans, performs, directs and reviews the work if the warehouse specialists and drivers. Responsibilities Plan, perform, direct and review the work of the warehouse spoecialists and drivers. Ensure timely, accurate and complete documentation of logistic and property related actions. Oversee and perform the following activities: move, palletize, stock, deliver, document and barcode incoming and outgoing shipments of materials and property to contractors or customers Move items within the BLS national office, conduct inventory, oversee response or personally respond to helpdesk tickets pertaining to logistics, warehousing and property management Prepare items for disposal Set up furniture and stage equipment for conference center events Assemble furniture Document all customer request completions and complete basic data entry computer tasks Develop strategies related to workflow to the Government. Provide friendly customer service Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a Material Coordinator role Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lift heavy items/objects Experience with Microsoft office specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience and certifications to operate required equipment; including forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, and walkie pallets. Fully trained in lifting and moving techniques and have knowledge of the appropriate procedures for kinds of equipment needed to move specific items, which include but are not limited to the handling of equipment properly on dollies, pallet walkies, and forklifts to prevent damage or injury. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
