What You'll Do…
Operational Oversight: Supervise inbound, outbound, and claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Team Leadership & Training: Directly supervise and mentor GSR 6 crew members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Workforce Management: Schedule workforce, manage overtime and vacation requests, and ensure proper crew coverage. Labor & Compliance: Maintain positive UAW relationships, resolve grievances, and ensure compliance with Ford-UAW contracts and ISO 14001 environmental standards. Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, inventory accuracy, error reduction, and customer satisfaction. Facility & Safety: Uphold building organization, cleanliness, and safety standards while driving adherence to company processes.You'll have...
Highschool Diploma Ability to walk and navigate a large facility (600,000 sq. ft.) for extended periods as required to oversee operations. Must have ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet and/or exceed dealer shipping deadlines Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM) Proven dependability record and successful team-oriented experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently Goal oriented individual Continuous Improvement mindset Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employeesEven better, you may have… Bachelor’s Degree 2-3 years operational experience within a High Velocity Center Or High Cube Center. Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience.
