This Position reports to:
SCM Team Lead
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava
You will be mainly accountable for:
You will serve as the key liaison between the Material Compliance (MC) team, Research and Development (R&D), and Product Management (PPM)
Your responsibilities will include translating the MC team's recommendations and requirements for the R&D team and vice versa, organizing regular joint meetings, and ensuring effective communication of MC information across these departments
You will work closely with the MC manager, acting as their right hand in matters of MC communication, documentation, and priority setting
You will coordinate the resolution of more complex MC cases between the MC team and R&D
Additionally, you will co-create relevant documentation and assist in mapping and improving processes in this area
Ensuring coordinated resolution of discrepancies in MC between the teams will also be part of your role
You will join a Quality team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)Fluent communication in English at a minimum B2 levelEducation or experience in the field of electrical engineeringKnowledge of MC issues is an advantage (RoHS, REACH, etc.)Proactivity and strong communication skillsExperience working remotely using platform MS Teams or similarAdditional language skills are an advantage (German, Swedish)
