This position supervises services in a designated area according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the department and hospital. Works cooperatively within department and other services to create a system of quality health care.

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Massachusetts RN Licensure.
2. Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
2. Five (5) years of clinical nursing experience.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Initiates, monitors, and maintains data collection techniques related to identified quality metrics.Collaborates with Inpatient Nursing leadership, Inpatient Clinical staff, and other hospital staff to create and lead Quality Improvement projects using known tools such as PDSA and LEAN methodology.Disseminates data to inpatient leadership team, leadership and various committees.Stays current on best practices using evidence-based standards for inpatient services.Collaborates with Inpatient Nursing leaders and Clinical staff to ensure that compliance with regulatory requirements is in a constant state of readiness.Supports quality improvement projects based on staff reported safety concerns with measurable outcomes.Collaborates with other members of System Quality Team and Departments to improve Quality.Communicates effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.Supports improvements in policies, procedures, and practices.Provides quality data and closed loop processes for all care programs (Stroke, Restraint, NSI’s,Conducts analysis of identified quality improvement data.
