Material characterization & testing – perform material analysis (metals, electronic components, polymers)Using techniques such as SEM/EDX, FTIR, XRF, X-Ray, optical microscopy, mechanical testing, cross sectioning etc.Verification materials properties according to design specs. and standardsFailure analysis e.g. delamination, corrosion, cracksRoot cause analysis and findings documentationClose work with Quality, SQE, R&D and ME departmentsSupport manufacturing processesEnsure compliance with IPC-A-610 standardExpectations:
