In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action: Shape the future of cranial surgery—develop your master’s thesis in our R&D team, leveraging AI, advanced algorithms, and state-of-the-art navigation technology.

Opportunity to complete your master’s thesis in the field of navigated cranial neurosurgery.
Develop prototypes for our surgical navigation system and contribute with a proof-of-concept application.
Become an integral part of an international and interdisciplinary Research & Development team.
Contribute to our state-of-the-art navigation and imaging system using C++, Python, and/or Matlab.
Apply the latest technologies in machine learning, geometric algorithms, knowledge representation, and information retrieval.
Conduct independent research in the field of surgery and transform innovative ideas into practical, value-adding solutions.
That makes you stand out
You are enrolled in a master’s program in computer science, medical technology, or a related field.
You have experience with object-oriented programming and frameworks such as Qt and OpenCV.
You have strong mathematical skills and enjoy applying them to real-world problems.
You are motivated by challenging tasks in the field of medical technology.
You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
You work independently, are highly motivated, and eager to take on responsibility quickly.
Please note: The project deals with current and sensitive development topics, so a confidentiality agreement (Sperrvermerk) will be required.
Duration of your internship: 6 months (full-time)
